JP MORGAN HELP

Guys,

I would love some opinion on which industry sector is a good bet for future exit to a middle market PE fund. I am thinking of TMT and Healthcare, however I am not too sure. Not really interested in FIG. I could also possibly try for the debt capital markets team?

Also, which JP Morgan EMEA industry sector is hot right now, apart from FIG?

Any insight on the above matters is highly appreciated!!!

thanks in advance.

For PE placement your ideal groups are lev finance & financial sponsors. TMT group in SF is stellar, always are going toe to toe with GS for deals (pm me for any details), but really intense culture/working around the clock. I've heard healthcare is the "fun" group; don't know how substantail that is tho.

don't do FIG if you're not interested in FIG.

Meet as many people from different sectors. I didn't know i'd like oil & gas until after i was placed there for an internship. Nor did I know that i'd like FIG. Meet the people and aim for fit.

DCM would work well for a PE exit IF you're in leveraged finance. In the US, leveraged finance is separate from DCM but in EMEA - some firms have leveraged finance within DCM.

Hate to hijack, but while we're on the topic of JPM exit opps, can someone speak more about Capital Structure Advisory and Solutions? (CSAS) I have a phone call with several members of this group and I was wondering if someone could speak more about their business/exit opps.
