My friend just got invited to JP Morgan Hongkong investment banking summer training program. its a one month program aiming to introduce IB and other techniques in JP Morgan. He won't tell me how he gets the offer since he is just a sophomore. Besides, I loom through their website but I didn't find any information about this program. Any insiders?

He did have some strong connection in China... He shows me the invitation he got and it says this program will have some other peers. Just out of curiosity are all people in this so called training program VIPs? Since there is obviously no such program exist on their website. And will the program benefit him since it's not technically an internship and you can't even find the program in google. Or it is something only insider can know and identify? Thanks!!! Just curious
