JP Morgan Launching Leaders Internship
Has anybody here gone through this program? If there are any past attendees, how selective is it for those that currently attend targets?

my friend is in it-- went to bronx science I think, incredibly selective-- they pay for all of your school, right?
would like to know who got in also
Anyone else here apply to this?
I did but it's extremely competitive, especially if you're a non URM.
Yeah I figured. Sophomore or junior?
I went through this program last year. feel free to ask me questions.
How long did it take you to hear back?
Was it just a phone interview, and then an in person for the final round? How technical were they?
Yes, first round was actually two phone interview's for me followed by in person superday where I had 4 back to back interviews.
Phone interviews weren't really technical. Was asked about current market conditions, why finance, why banking, etc. The technical questions were along the lines of "how would you value a company?" They look for the usual precedent transactions, comparables, DCF, etc.
Final round superday was more of the same. Asked about the market, why JPM, etc. Technical questions were more or less the same. For me I was coming from a non-finance technical background (CS/MATH) so a lot of mine was behavioral and I interviewed with one CS guy who grilled me on CS concepts.
hope this helps.
Good stuff man I appreciate it. How was your experience with the internship program?
My experience was actually pretty phenomenal. I was placed in an amazing group that worked hard but was extremely chill and helpful. And JPM seemed genuinely committed to the program and showed it through events and the millions of people that were your mentors and would contact you all the time just to make sure you were ok.
I think that was the best part of program; we had several amazing mentors from analysts to group heads that would all contact you on a regular basis and make sure you were ok. I was given an offer to return, but unfortunately I wanted to explore a different division and that was a little difficult to do at JPM so I looked elsewhere. However, I always say that if I actually liked the division I was in at JPM, I would've never left.
That's great man glad to hear it. Haven't heard back but supposedly we can hear back from them any time between now and Nov 7th so I'll keep you posted.
URM is so disrespectful of a term
Anyone else been through this program or the interviews that I could contact with a few questions?
I had a phone interview a few weeks ago and had my superday yesterday, December 2nd. Did anyone else go through the superday yet or hear back on their final offer?
I'll be at the Superday on the 7th of December. Is anyone else going?
It's for investment banking.
A few of my friends are in the same boat as you. Maybe there is another superday later on during winter. I applied really early so that might be why I got an early response. Don't give up.
And thanks for the comment. Cross fingers. Good luck for your superday this coming friday!
Thanks! I'm not sure of the deadline but feel free to email them. They do a good job of responding quickly.
