Agreed. know yourself, study the generic behavioral questions, and keep up to date with markets / trends. The extent of difficulty of technicals will probably be talk about a stock you like or give me an investment idea.. other than that you may get a brain teaser thrown at you.
That's super helpful! What about make me a market type questions? Should I expect those? Do you know if I'm supposed to go in knowing if I want to do Sales, Trading or Research? Or am I supposed to just express a genuine interest in markets?
I had a markets internship before switching to banking and was in a similar position as you. I didn't know what they would ask, so I studied macro topics, bond math, did a stock pitch, etc. During my interview, it was the easiest process ever. Questions included, Bond math, expected values, books I was reading and why markets instead of banking.
Thanks a lot for this! Do you have any recommendations for guides to study from? I have been preparing for IB but got an interview for Markets and I am pretty clueless about how to prepare for technicals. I have a week.

JPM Markets Summer Analyst process (Originally Posted: 07/06/2018)
I’m a rising sophomore at a semi-target or low target (not sure which), good GPA and test scores but limited finance experience. I applied for the JPM Market Summer Analyst early today and got a Hirevu invite a few hours later. Will the questions generally be similar to those on the 2019 megathread? And if I’m fortunate enough to pass it, what does the process look like from there? Lastly, I’m in Europe for the summer on am internship and only have a dress shirt/tie, no jacket. Will that be an issue for the Hirevue?
