JP Morgan Tech (NY)

Anyone have insight on culture, deal flow, exit opportunities? Is it really better to work at JPM versus another top MM bank (also coverage) where you’d maybe get more experience and fit in better with team?

Culture - sweatshop, backstabbing, hairdo, macho competitive BS

Dealflow - good, although focused more on verticals like tech services, info services and payments

JPM did not finance a lot of deals during the heydays, so not sure about their FSG relationships

Exit oppo - very good

Better to do it at JPM than MM for sure

So I take it there's basically no modeling/technical experience? Dunno how that bodes for exit opps and does not sound too appealing.

damn i read some other thread that said culture is actually decent for jpm tech NYC

any groups at jpm that have a good culture then?
