JPM Commercial Banking Comp
Does anyone know about compensation for JPM CB within the different groups CCBSI, CRE, MMBSI . Does anyone know the newest base and bonus for first-year analyst (NYC)?
MMBSI and CRE starts at $80k with small bonus (5-10k last year)
CCBSI starts at $100k but don’t know comp numbers
Do you know if the MMBSI and CRE salaries will get raised to 100k starting? also what's the all in looking like for a first year with sign on bonus and relocation?

$10k sign on, salaries most likely won’t be raised for years. JPM grossly underpays for commercial banking positions which contributes to high turnover. From what I’ve heard, all MMBSI analysts wanna do commercial banking for the long term or leave for better opportunities; most CCBSI analysts leave for IB and not sure about CRE
I heard ccbsi a1 bonus is around 30-40%, MMBSI is likely going to be stuck at around 75-80k range with min. bonus
MMBSI folks get paid peanuts at every level Analyst through VP. A lot of their bankers are grossly underpaid and stick around for the brand name. I honestly don’t get it. CCBSI is the way to go but CCBSI works longer hours than MMBSI.
Other banks pay more, even non-BB’s.
