I know that there’s both seniors and juniors within C/R in Dallas. Also saw that they were recruiting for a Tech analyst so there might be people there now

It is mostly corporate/commercial banking with C&R as an exception (rainmaker MD wanted to live in Dallas). I just checked LinkedIn and like the other analyst said there are some positions open for the tech group, so maybe they are starting a new group there, but not sure. Overall, it's a very limited presence for IB

Doubtful that'll happen TBH. Plenty of jobs on the buyside in Dallas.........but the IB experience you'll need to land those jobs will likely be had in Houston (or some other hub further away).

I know HL has an office there. And obviously the one JPM MD with enough clout to staff a C&R coverage desk discussed above.

Fact of the matter is just there aren't enough corporate clients HQ'd in Dallas (in a single vertical) to warrant it.
