i spent two years in FIG. got absolutely demolished but not as bad as others. was averaging 80-90 in middle bucket just to get by. amazing deal flow. 100% would recommend; it was the best thing to ever happen to me. and yes the culture is HIGHLY different based on vertical. All are great groups, but from most to least intensity i'd say is: Banks, SpecFin, Insurance, FTWAM
