had a phone interview for JPM IBD about 7-8 days ago. interviewer said that he'd follow up around a week's time.
when should i inquire an update on the status of the interview, if at all?
the reason why i'm even hesitant is because resume drops for the position are still available, so i'm wondering if they're still waiting out slots for interviews or if i've already been dinged.

btw to note, i'm also a sophomore, so i'm not sure if they're hesitant to give me an answer since i understand priorities are (and should) be given to juniors for FT offers

I have a friend who got SA internship with Morgan Stanley and JPM when he was sophomore. Networking, networking, networking will solve everything :D

and no, i'm not a URM, quite opposite actually
i'm not 100% sure if this was the result of networking (since i wasn't told of anything) but i did get good rapport with some analysts/associates at a school info session so i'm sure it helped. i go to a semi-target
