JPM full time vs summer analyst

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about JP Morgan full time analyst recruiting process. According to their website, the pool of full time analyst comes from the group who had summer internship with them. And there isn't a deadline for full time analyst application posted on the website. It seems to me that they are going to recruit exclusively from the summer analysts. Is it possible for someone to apply to JPM summer analyst as a senior student and then apply to full time after the internship? Thank you for the input!

Cheers!

Should work. Make sure you don't tell them that you are a senior applying to summer. Tell them that you are a junior and planning on graduating a year later. Once you get the offer, you reveal to them that you have actually completely your degree and you are able to stay with the firm after the internship. If you do well they would be happy to have you stay. Just make sure you communicate everything well and get the message across. And make sure that HR processes everything properly.

However if you tell them you are a senior applying to summer you will definitely get dinged.

If you're applying to the UK you can also just write in your cover letter or wherever that you are currently applying to 1-yr MA/MSc programs (maybe that works in the US too, not sure)
