Analyst in IB, just got laid off. Multiple other first years and second years got laid off too

Weren't you at FTP? Pretty shitty they laid first years off that early. What was your impression of the place?

Keep your head up and pushing forward! Saw multiple good Analysts get let go, while others who I thought were less talented stayed.

Tough market but this could make you stronger over the long run.

Just curious but how were the layoffs conducted? Do they tell you that you were getting cut during your mid year review conversations or was it randomly scheduled?

what the hell is wrong with you! you keep hijacking other people’s forums with your damn copy pasted question. Dudes who lack situational awareness like you are the first to usually go.
