They are a top group at a top bank, so sweaty. A lot of real hardos on that team, I was surprised by the number of guys I talked to there who implied they were in it for the long haul and not looking for exits. Some groups are better than others, but JPM broadly is not super supportive of exits and you need to be careful about who you talk to about the buy side and interviewing

At the end of the day, it’s J.P. m&a so you will have strong exits but you will be working pretty hard while you’re there. 

 

Stellar name. Will get you looks pretty much anywhere PE-wise. Sweaty af group but you will get awesome cross-industry deal exp to speak to on your resume. Had two friends in that group who definitely said it was full of hardos but the exposure and opps it opened up made it good for them. They also loved the people - despite them being hardos they were treated well and spoken to like professionals rather than condescended scum
