JPM Ops Freshman

Hey guys,

I am a freshman at a non-target and have an SA offer for JPM's Corporate Development Program. It's BO/MO but it's my only opportunity for this summer. Last summer I did PWM at a BB. Should I take it? I really want to get a FO job later on but since this is my first college summer I don't think I'd be pigeonholed as an Ops guy. Thoughts?

not at all. with those two on your resume you would position yourself nicely for next summer. Your only other option at this point would be to network and try to land an offcycle FO gig at a MM bank or boutique

Here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, you are the sucker.

Dude corp dev at JPM is not bad at all for a freshman. I'm curious to hear how you managed to pull this off.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
