Incoming analyst at JPM PB

Base: 85k with 5k bump each year of the analyst program. EDIT: First-year base is now $100k as of August 2021

Sign-on: 10k

Bonus: 10-15k? Not entirely sure.

Hours/Culture: 60-70 depends on the office/team with pretty laid back and collaborative culture. A lot of the senior bankers came from S&T and some from IB looking for better WLB. Pretty cushy finance job if you like a mix of working with clients and markets. Analyst program is broadly generalist. At Associate level you can go either the Investor (PM) route or Banker role (relationship manager/bringing in new clients).

Quoting @Kkreme15 from another thread:

"At the associate level, all in comp is dependent on performance. The FT offer I got was $125k base and $57.5k sign on bonus. In your first two years as an associate, your comp is paid out of NYC and not out of the team's revenue, but the revenue you bring in helps the team. This provides an incentive for senior bankers to help you bring in clients. I was told as a single coverage advisor (High Net Worth - 5-25M), for every $5M in investment/banking/credit flows brought in, that's an additional $25k bonus. Beyond that, it is up to the Market Managers discretion."
