Are JPM SA's in SF and LA generalists or are they assigned to product/industry groups?

I believe the SF office is only TMT. LA office analysts are considered generalists but you focus on CHR.
Second hand info, but my friend is going to be a JPM SA in San Francisco, and he will be in the healthcare group.
Actually, that could be their Silicon Valley office. Note sure.
