JPMC Junior Analyst Program (IB)

Hey all—been looking around a lot but could not find much information on the JPMorganChase Junior Analyst Program, which sits in ECM/DCM. Anyone have any figures on what salary/base/TC look like at the first-year level (and how does that scale over time)? All insight is appreciated.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are the figures for compensation at the first-year level and beyond for JPMorgan Chase's Junior Analyst Program in Investment Banking (ECM/DCM):

  • 1st Year Analyst: $166K total compensation.
  • 2nd Year Analyst: $168K total compensation.
  • 3rd+ Year Analyst: $187K total compensation.

These figures represent total compensation, which typically includes base salary and bonuses. Over time, compensation scales modestly as you progress through the analyst ranks.

Is this the Argentina program? I heard you’re essentially another first year analyst who can’t do live work as unlicensed. After a year, there’s typically an option to move to the US (on an L1 so no h1-b nonsense) and be a first year analyst if you’re good. Basically below a 1st year analyst but above the CRG / India team.

It’s pretty competitive and I heard every single person was incredible as everyone had 5+. Years of work experience and I believe it’s street / near street but cost of living adjusted
