Summer Analyst who just wrapped up their internship.
Consistently worked +60 hours a week, with every now and then pulling an 80-90 hour week.
Most of the time it was 65 hours
Since most of the people on here did not work in banking in 2021...
FWIW, these types of stories and the reporting on how bad banking was during Covid is what led to salary bumps, retention bonuses, meal increases etc. Seniors aren't reading WSO, if you have concerns this isn't a bad place to put them
