Keep Recruiting IB or Go For Consulting?
Seeking some advice.
I'm a senior at a target. I interned at a MM, no return offer due to changes in group. Still really want to do banking, but it seems there are very few opportunities still out there.
consulting interviews are now less than a month away. I would strongly prefer banking, but I understand consulting is a high value position that still leads to a good career.
Should I put time into consulting recruiting even though it's not my first choice? Are there still full-time IB opportunities out there, potentially even in late winter / spring?
Hedge your bets. Make the move to consulting if necessary.
