Career Resources
Best Industrials office in LA is PWP - seniors are rainmakers from BofA and JPM focused on large-cap client coverage, and they also recently poached one of Lazard's A&D MDs. Strong deal flow, lean office, good culture but heard hours are still management. Moelis LA also does an industrials deal here and there, but Industrials really isn't the focus of the office. Some of the BBs have an Industrials banker here and there, but Industrials is by no means the focus of those offices. On the MM side, HL has an Industrials group focused on business services and A&D iirc.
There are some other offices that are primarily focused on certain verticals and don't cover industrials broadly. Lazard LA has an A&D group that's good, but they recently lost one of their main MDs to PWP. Citi has a strong metals & mining group - downside is that they're in DTLA.
Would second this, among the BBs JPM probably has the most industrials seniors (and thus the most industrials deal flow).
How's the Citi Metals & Mining team?
Solid group split across Chicago and LA. They're very strong at financing and solid at M&A as well with strong relationships with a lot of the largest corporates, although they've missed out on some large mandates over the past few years. Culture there seems decent, although being in DTLA sucks.
