I hear some firms are providing guaranteed $$$ for lateral associates. Anyone hear which firms and how much they are guaranteeing?

Wtf are you talking about? If your background, skills and alternative options (I.e. willingness to say “no” or lateral somewhere else) are good enough, then you can negotiate almost anything when lateraling. Sign-on, relocation, full-year bonus, clawback payments, even Aso level, are all on the table if they want/need you bad enough. If you’re good enough you shouldn’t need guarantees because you can negotiate for even more for yourself. Get it together man.
