Lateral BB FIG, Attrition Rates?

What is required to lateral to a strong FIG franchise (e.g. GS/JPM/MS)? Due to sweatiness, how are attrition rates across these groups? Does that translate to more open spots and less competition to enter?

Thanks

do you work in FIG or trying to get into it?

FIG is pretty hot rn and most franchises are hiring, JPM the most and MS the least of those you listed but many EBs also were hiring for it this year.

Would say analyst attrition rate is p high but afterwards it’s better, but not sure if this is due to less burnout or FIG people preferring to stay in FIG

In terms of competition if you already work in FIG, especially in banks/insurance you will have a lot of opportunities open to lateral up as laterals from other coverages is rare
