Lateral from boutique to big 5
I’m a 1st year analyst at a boutique in Toronto. Generalist.
Want to move to big 5 for better deal exposure, brand name for exits, and be apart of a specialized industry/product group. E.g. m&a, mining, tmt.
Anyone have any advice on making this kind of move? As well as, how feasible is this, how to manage networking without my company finding out, etc.
Depends on the boutique - if one of the dime a dozen cannabis ECM bucket shops no, if something like an Osprey or Blair Franklin most likely
