Right now I’ve received an offer to lateral to another bank in a busier part of my industry. I think I’m the best candidate they’re going to hire.
What can I expect in the form of compensation / bonus for a lateral?
They’ve provided a small stipend for moving expenses but I’m wondering if they’ll pay me for the bonus that I’m leaving behind at my current firm.
Is there a precedent for this? Do you know how laterals were previously compensated? Also - do you know if they kept their title or lost time on that during the transition?
