Lateral Hiring 2020 Summer

Anyone having any luck with lateral processes? I reconnected with all my connections and no one was hiring yet. Interested to hear if those with experience who were trying to lateral had any recent luck or if it's a similar story. I just finished up my 2nd year so would like to leave sooner rather than later but might have to stay patient for awhile. Thanks

I'm in a similar boat, looking to make a move and not getting much traction. Not surprising given the macro circumstances but sample size of one - deals and new engagements are significantly picking back up in the last 1.5 months at my lower MM firm. So, maybe being too optimistic but hoping that is a good sign!

Similar experience here - been looking to make a lateral move for a few months now, but most my contacts at other firms have indicated they are at a hiring standstill at the moment. Hopefully things will pick up on the lateral front going in to the fall as deal activity picks up again.
