Lateral IB London - Process

Hi all,

I am wondering how to tackle recruiting for lateraling from a sector I dislike to a sector I like and have experiences on.

Currently at a BB in a team I’m not fond of (infra/RE), have clear internship experience in another sector I am fond of (healthcare) and was wondering how to tackle recruiting for opportunities in London. It seems to me very unstructured and I am not fully aware of headhunters operating in the space.

Bonus question: how would you approach potentially lateraling within the bank I am at? Is it a process that you discuss with your manager? Something where you need support from the team that could welcome you?

Thanks for your time, appreciate it!
