Lateral sing-on bonus negotiation?
Hi fellow monkeys, I'm an analyst 2 and I practically got a verbal offer for an associate 1 position last Friday and have a last pure formality HR round to discuss the role, so it's basically in my pocket. Do you typically negotiate the salary / sign-on bonus after the HR gives the official offer? I didn't bother doing that for when I joined as an An1 so not sure how it actually goes. If they do send me a contract can I ask whether the sign-in amount is flexible? what is the best approach here? am trying to maximise the moneys I get without it ruining my reputation
