Lateraled as Analyst 3 from industry but struggling. Need guidance

I'm a analyst 3 having lateraled fromIndustry into a global boutique (MOE/LAZ/ROTH).After my 5 interviews and assessments, I was offered an Associate 1 role. I reneged and pushed for Analyst 3 as I figured it would give me time to get used to the role before diving into Associate.

I'm 5 months into the role and little things like formatting (fonts, footnotes, style etc) and modelling (building a model from unstructured client data. I can build models from a 10Q but struggle with client data that’s unstructured, doesn’t reconcile etc) are holding me back.I should also note, I haven't been given any training whatsoever in the role

Option 1 - fix issues and get promod

Option 2 - try to fix things, fail and get pushed out

Option 3 - Quit - I'll be able to secure a corporate role with the same base as an associate

-My ED told me that Boutiques are a double edge sword in that you're closer to MD's and get more exposure but on the flip side fewer layers between you and MD, mean you can't hide. I'm starting to think he's rightWhat should I do ?

what would you do

I was lateraling from a corporate where I had over 4-5 years M&A experience.I had never worked in IB and so opted to come in as slightly more junior to enable me to get up to speed before getting promo'd to associate.

This reads more like a humble brag post looking for praise than a genuine request for constructive advice.

“Everyone I passed 5 interviews and assessments to get an Associate role at a top boutique but I argued back down to an Analyst 3, I’m so humble…”

”I build flawless decks but sometimes I misplace a footnote, I’m so careless…”

“I can create a 100% perfect model from scratch from a 10Q but sometimes my models are less than perfect when the underlying data is unstructured, I’m not technical enough…”
