Law school prestige for IB / PE

Going to law school right after undergrad (finance major accounting master’s with a CPA) from a non-target university. The law school I’m planning on going to is a T30 law school offering me almost a full ride (high GPA and LSAT)

I want to do M&A, preferably at Lazard or some other M&A bank and then open up an M&A law firm. Does law school prestige matter?

Shit. Would going to a better ranked law school (T7) for full price be better than a lower ranked law school for almost free? Fuck Lazard, I’m just saying M&A experience on its own

I'm not sure if this plan makes much sense. First, why open an M&A law firm after M&A banking? Why not a boutique bank? Next, an M&A law firm isn't something you can just open up like Law Offices of Joe Smith. It's something you'd need significant experience as an M&A lawyer with deep contacts and a book of business. However, I don't want to squash your dreams. Keep thinking big.
