Lazard and PWP C&R
Currently a BB coverage banker looking to make the switch into C&R sometime. My firm's C&R group is pretty weak, so I've been mainly looking at lateraling down the line. Unfortunately, don't know too many people at Lazard and PWP, so would appreciate if anyone here can provide some more insight into how their C&R groups are.
Ex-Laz C&R - both groups are strong in terms of deal flow and are quite similar in the verticals that they tend to be stronger in. Laz C&R has a pretty stuffy/buttoned-up culture and can get pretty sweaty, whereas PWP's team seems to be much more laid-back from my interactions with them.
How have Laz C&R's exits been historically?
Solid - C&R exits include TH Lee, L Catterton, Searchlight, KKR.
What's "stuffy" culture like if I may ask?
Everyone is very stiff/formal, seniors are a bit more old-school, not as collegial.
Do you know anything about MS C&R
Interned there. Not among the strongest teams at MS but overall culture is pretty good.
