It's going to be an uphill battle to get into an MFPE, and you can forget about SM HFs. MM HFs are doable though.
Have seen 1 person exit to MFPE tbf but he was an exceptional analyst

The examples you present are not representative of Lazard but of the people getting these exit opps - they're all connected and as long as they weren't working at some dogshit corporate finance house they'd have the same outcome.
