What are some of the characteristics of your least favorite MD?
We've got one that's a micro-manager, yet still doesn't give good guidance, and is always pushing for too aggressive timelines, and doesn't realize that there are other deals you work on (not just his).

The cardinal sin in my mind is dropping some hideous, weekend-consuming assignment in your lap at 6pm on a Friday as he heads out in his hawaiian shirt for at weekend at the beach.

another one i had was when he'd be poker faced regardless and would just say "that's fine" no matter what you've done, giving you zero feedback on the stuff you've just given him.. seems minor, but unnerves me sometimes..
