Legal Weed & Drug Testing

I recently signed a FT offer from an EB in a state where recreational weed is legal. I have nothing in my system but don't know whether my drug test will occur soon or in the months leading up to my start date next summer.

Given my current abundance of free time that will vanish in the coming years, being able to partake in certain situations now would be awesome, although not worth risking without HR confirmation. Wondering whether it's appropriate to ask the policy for weed testing given its legal status and maybe try to get a hint at the timing. I don't care whether they know I like to have fun in my free time, but I care whether asking an unorthodox question that risks being looked down upon is something they could rescind my offer for.

I think it's pretty silly that one has to hesitate in asking this question in the first place, but given the stigma, I wonder if it's even worth the potential freedom of getting an answer.
