Legit question: why is citi even around?
I'm serious here, i mean they got absolutely crushed and their commercial bank is all thats left and is their best asset and its not even that good compared to chase. plus they are under government's thumb for who knows how many more decades, which means poor management and bad regulations and crap pay.
why dont they just sell the entire bank to the government and be done with it? the commercial banking side can be sold to Barclays or something.
