Lehman Brothers Phone Interview
I have a Phone interview with them next week and was wondering if there's anything I should expect. I'm from a non target school. Are there more questions more behavioral or technical because this is only a first round phone interview for non targets.
i just had a phone interview with lehman in hong kong. very technical for me even though i'm not a finance or accounting major. lehman in nyc might be different but for hk expect questions about valuation, pitch books, accounting, and brainteasers. is your phone interview for hk or nyc?
From my experience as a non-target, their phone interviews tend to be pretty qualitative/behavioral vs. quantitative. Overall, the people I've met there have been really nice, down -to-earth individuals.
I think the interview said it was firmwide. So I think its the preliminary interviews before interviewing on location
Lehman's first rounds are done by a recruiter "wearing a one-firm hat". at least for SA's. They then decide based on your preferences and their own observations whether you should go on to a superday for IM, IBD, or CapMkts if you go on at all.
I am guessing this is for SA right?
