I can't swear to the quality of Lehman Menlo Park, but I work in Menlo Park, and you can't beat the weather or the setting. It's 75 degrees and sunny every day, and it only rained once (for fifteen minutes) this summer. The people are laid-back and friendly, and they have real lives. Hiking/surfing/sailing/city pursuits are all half an hour (or slightly more in traffic) away. And everyone's got this entrepreneurial vibe. Good stuff.

I'd take this over LA (the "scene", the commute), Chicago (the weather) or Houston (the everything). Be aware that investment banking in Menlo Park is heavily tilted towards VC and smaller/younger firms. It's exciting, but you won't wake up on many mornings to find your deals on the front of the WSJ.
