Lev finance

Hey guys I’m about to begin my first internship and got a role in leveraged acquisition finance and was wondering if it’s a good beginning for IBD ? And if someone can give more information about the exit opportunties, role etc please? How does it defer from DCM or even m&a (even if it’s obviously different)? That’s just an internship I do before my MSc finance. After my master I’d like to join a HF or PE and if I can’t just do m&a or restructuring. Thanks for your answers!
