Wondering what are the exit opportunities for a junior at LevFin Cap Markets. Currently at a BB (not GS/JPM/MS). Would public markets/HF be possible (CLOs/distress/opportunistic)? How about Private Credit/Direct Lending as well as PE (know PE might be a longer shot)?
What size of funds should be in the reach? MF/UMMs possible or just purely MMs?

Are you referring to a LevFin Syndicate team or Origination?

Definitely not PC in the traditional sense as you are not doing any credit work. You can probably go to a capital markets team for a fund, etc.
How does it compared to IG DCM Origination in terms of exits?
Capital markets at MF, transfer to levfin or other more traditional banking team, debt capital markets
Do IG DCM rather than LEvFin capmkts. People at least know what the former is. The latter is a very small team. You won’t do well in recruiting for buyside investment roles because you spend no time analyzing company fundamentals.
