Leverage for ACs?

Hi European monkies,

Got 2 ACs from 2 (I-don't-really-like) BB, and now still waiting for other results to come out as some of my friends have gotten some offers/rejections. Also so tired of just waiting as the spots are being filled up. Do you think it would be a good idea to write directly to HR/whoever related (I have the contact) to leverage an acceleration of interview/AC? Will it be seen super bad or is it fine?

You can try to accelerate your processes once you have been told that you have passed at least 1st round, but take into account that most decent shops will not accelerate if you dont get an offer, or if at least, your bank is not good enough. Dont expect MS to accelerate your process if you dont have an AC at least from CS/Citi... if you have an offer, even if its a DB offer, things may be different

the only time leveraging has ever worked for me is when I held an offer in one hand and I was at the AC of another firm. If you're implying that you plan on using your AC at the 2 BB's to try and get a first-round or anything from a better bank, don't think that will work.
