Analyst finishing up my first year has I’ve gotten a few lateral offers to much stronger firms. I really like the junior people at my firm and I think we are all very good friends. I want to get a better experience and my analyst friends are supportive of me leaving. Any thoughts on this? I generally feel sad leaving them even if it’s a better career move

50% of your class will be gone in the next 8 months and 95% in 12 months, it's just not a logical reason to stay. It's absolutely sad though.
Stay in touch with them and make sure you keep up with occasional drinks or calls, but you should do what's best for your career.
