Lincoln International Miami Office

https://www.lincolninternational.com/news/lincoln… Lincoln International just announced it is opening a Miami office. What is the foreseeable future for this office? Would it be dumb to leave a NYC bank for this?

Not dumb if you want to be in Miami. I'm sure this is a way for them to attract talent. LI is pretty good about allowing you to move around other offices even if the group isn't officially based there and comp is in parity with other US offices.

They're a good MM firm, probably the most recognizable M&A shop in Miami downtown. RJ is Tampa and I don't think any other bank that doesn't just serve LatAm or WM have a real presence in the actual city. Lots of other more boutique-y banks, usually focused on a specific industry.
