100K base for AN is top of street for any portfolio valuations role.  Will only find this at Houlihan or Lincoln, and bonus should be anywhere from 20-40%, depending on bucket and title, but this is offset by working IB hours during busy seasons.

Dang. The recruiter asked for my salary expectations so I said 90k cause the 95-105k range they listed was only for Chicago/New York. Hopefully they give me more than what I ask for if I get it

They’ll typically give you the same number no matter what you say unless your going for a lateral mid+ level position with a few YOE. AN1/2 bases are typically standardized. You definitely should’ve mentioned the 95-105 number since that was on the posting, even if that wasn’t for your specific location, but I wouldn’t stress it at all - the question is more of a compliance standard for an entry level position than an actual attempt to gauge what they’re gonna offer you at. How far are you along in the process.
