LOL @ NYC summer intern housing cockblocking everyone

Just lmao. You have to sign in overnight guests at certain places by 4pm (FIT), 9pm (EHS), 11pm (SVA) or they cant come over? LMAO. Just LOL at telling a girl from the bar she can't come over because our housing won't let us have guests. And NYU and New School still require you to sign them in although no pre-register policy (LMAO, what are we, 10?). Max 6-7 nights per calender month that you can have overnights too. Just lmao at getting cockblocked by these BS housing rules.

NYC, not even once.

And I am not subletting, don't know anyone in this city and don't want to limit my friend group to the few interns in my group.

LDAR.

edit: also LOL at stuy park at new school being a dry residence

I lived in EHS and yeah the policies are terrible. You could probably push to go back to her place though

were they strict on their no overnights? And how were the other people in the dorm? Inter-dorm banging frequent?

What are you laughing about? Is LMAO your generation's code for I'm upset?

Anyway, if you want to smash that bad, there are alternatives. Man up and and shell out some of that summer analyst cash on an airbnb or hotel room.

can you not read? Little too much time in the cube getting to your head i see boyo. I don't know anyone in this city. Gonna go out by myself? How am i supposed to meet people

Expectations vs. reality:

Expectation: Clubbing all night and hosting weekend orgy parties in your student housing penthouse because you're a banker (intern).

Reality: Jacking off in the men's room of your bank at 4:30 am wondering why in god's name it matters if the logo is a higher resolution or the 3 pixel white space on slide 223 will apparently make or break this deal.

i used to live at a place like that and would pre-register people Thursday night-Sunday. :) Oh I am sorry, I gave you the wrong name, this is Misty, Brenda couldn't make it tonight. Or, no I am sorry, this is the name I gave over the phone I am not responsible for your mistakes. After a while I lucked out because the same guy used to work at the front desk pretty much every night (young greek guy) and I would swing a $20 his way or hook him up with a woman and after a couple of weeks I didn't even have to register them anymore. Moral of the story: if your dick is thirsty enough, you'll find a way.

Edit: during my second internship there was a young woman at the front desk who was a stickler - I wasn't able to get quite as many by her. One day I asked her why she was such a bitch and she told me: why should you be having so much fun when my husband hadn't even fucked me in 6 months - needless to say, it took a little convincing but that was an easy problem to solve. get your creative hats on monkeys.

If my words were products, they would come with a 100% money back guarantee. Don't hate the player, friend. :)

While I agree that some of the housing policies are absurd (ie singing someone in by 4), you can totally find girls to come home with you while living at NYU since you'll probably be bringing home other interns that are in the city for fashion, marketing, etc. Also the NYU dorms have a ton of bars where you can pick up college aged girls who won't give a fuck if you have to sign them in.
