London banks that pay low bonuses

I recently got to know that not all banks pay the same range of bonuses. I expected a small difference, however it appears to be too much. For example, the French banks pay around 5-10k of bonuses at Analyst levels, which is less than 1/3rd of BB/EBs

So, could anyone provide any more detail on this? As far as I know BNP, SocGen, ING and the likes pay the lowest bonuses. Can anyone confirm? Thanks a lot :)
