London Jefferies (AN1) vs. Paris/Frankfurt EB (Intern)

General question: How much "company reputation" are you willing to give up to immediately start as an Analyst after your degree? The offer at Rothschild/Lazard in Paris/Frankfurt for an internship next summer means that I will likely start one year later compared to Jefferies London.

The location, immediate start and certainty not having to convert an internship are the main arguments in favor of Jefferies. Is it worth giving up the better name (Rothschild/Lazard) for this?

Are exits or laterals to BB that much better there compared to Jefferies London? Do not see myself as a career banker & rather in PE later, so that's a crucial point for me.

Thanks!

It should be much easier to lateral in London being based here, especially after brexit + you will be done with your FCA exams, have a work visa, national insurance, etc by the time you plan to lateral, so less problematic for the potential new employer. It’s a full time role in a decent bank - 1 year ahead, life is short.

Lateral BB location does not have to be London, I could also stay in/move to Paris/Frankfurt. Lateraling to a BB is more important than the location I'd say (personally and in general?)

Hey I was wondering when you did your final round for Jefferies and when you heard back?
