m&a current analyst class has advent, kkr fig, HIG. fsg class way smaller but the advantage of fsg (less intense hours, client interactions, seniors vouch) are less relevant now that on cycle is before you hit the desk. if you’re ivy league, you’ll have your fair share of interview opportunities in either group and it’s up to you to convert
if you recruit off cycle fsg tho could you still reap those advantages. Also I hear that during offcycle there are still a decent amount spots.
