M&A Presentation Slides Content
Hi guys,
I just started working as an Analyst in M&A, and I'm asked to build some Powerpoint slides of this company that we're going to pitch to potential clients. I'm not too sure what needs to be put on the slides. Can you please shed some light? I did research this forum, and most of the replies refer to some old links that are no longer working.
Thanks
look at old pitches at your firm and re purpose them. You can't expect people to help you out with no background and not knowing details. Is it a pitchbook to win a deal (bake-off) or a management presentation you are preparing for a client to shop themselves to potential buyers? What types of slides are you preparing - bank creds, process slides, valuation, potential buyers, etc.? Ask someone from your bank for help, I don't think a random person on the internet will be of much assistance.
Christ, how did you get hired? Your firm should have templates or old pitches you can use; don't reinvent the wheel.
And of course, if you have no idea what you're doing, ask someone. 2nd-years, your associate, someone.
I was hired to do Project Finance, and they now want me to do M&A as well. Small shop. I know that I need to ask someone at the firm, but everyone is out travelling, How hard is it for you guys to just briefly name a few things that are common for pitch slides. Geeessh.
