M&A: Template slide for company profiles

Hi - we’re putting together a deck for a corporate client who is looking to grow inorganically by acquiring another company in the industry. They’ve asked us to put together deck going over potential targets of private companies they can acquire.

My MD has given me a list of 10-15 targets and asked me to do 1 slide on each one covering things like company overview, opportunity etc..

Does anyone have any good templates/layout suggestions to use for the slides please? Thank you

i noticed all the existing ones I can find are for public companies so there’s sections for share price, financials (revenue, EBITDA etc..) but this is for private companies so not sure what sections / template to use.

ALSO, how long should a taste like this take to complete? E.g. assume 1 slide per profile, how long should it take per slide.

thanks

Top left company overview, top right company timeline / management or board / key competitors / geographic map, bottom left key products, bottom right business segments

You've overthinking, young Analyst. I cannot believe your bank would not have any type of "corporate overview" template they've ever used that could be leveraged.
