They may be doing the internal employee a favor, but never the less this is an opportunity to have your name plucked onto a narrower list of candidates.

This is a standard HR "sanity check". All they will want to do is make sure that you are normal and can express yourself. I would still prepare as if it were a full-blown interview, but chances are the hardest question that you will get will be along the lines of "Why do you want switch banks?" Good luck.
