Major Change in Background Check

Hi guys!

I received a BB summer analyst offer in November and accepted, and we are now going through the background check process.

Since I accepted the offer, I have changed my major from finance to economics. When I applied and interviewed, the major on my resume and application was finance. HR just sent out a survey for the background check and one of the questions asks about our major.

I'm also sending in an official transcript, which doesn't contain information about majors. The question is this - can I have my offer rescinded for changing majors? And thus should I enter my major as finance or economics?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Dude, I don't know why you guys worry about shit like this so much. It's fine. I got an offer when I was still a computer science major and then I switched to econ. They didn't care. I just told them I wanted to switch over to econ because it aligned with my interests better. Ta-da!
