Is it looked down upon to major in behavioral economics instead of economics? aka is behavioral economics seen as “less”? I am speaking in terms of interviews and evaluations from peers.

I honestly wish I could major in behavioral economics, and I'm surprised that's offered
Having said that, I wouldn't think behavioral economics is looked down upon, and it certainly wouldn't disadvantage you in interviews.

Economics is sociology guesswork masquerading as a science. Behavioral economics considers the humans involved in day-to-day life, which is actually useful.
